Emelia Enyonam Kuleke is a dedicated communications and partnerships professional with extensive experience in media, tech, and development. As the Partnerships and Donor Engagement Officer at the International Center for Evaluation and Development (ICED), she leverages her skills to build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders. Her work focuses on enhancing collaboration with donors, partners, and development organizations to advance ICED’s mission of fostering research and innovation for sustainable development.
With a background in journalism, media relations, stakeholder engagement, public policy and governance. Emelia brings a unique perspective to the role, combining strategic communication with a deep understanding of development issues. Prior to joining ICED, she worked in the tech and development industry in Ghana, where she played a key role in the Ghana Startup Ecosystem Mapping and the Pathways for Sustainable Employment projects funded by Mastercard Foundation and the World Bank.
Emelia holds an M.A. in Development Communication from University of Media, Arts & Communication in Ghana. Her expertise in communication, coupled with her passion for inclusivity and development, allows her to effectively drive engagement across diverse sectors.
Her work has always centered around using communication as a tool for advocacy, with a particular focus on education, STEM, and the empowerment of young girls in rural communities across Ghana. Outside of her professional work, Emelia is an advocate for child education and development in rural communities through her literacy and girl child education projects.
She is passionate about the intersection of technology and development; particularly how innovative solutions can be applied to solve societal challenges. In her role at ICED, she is committed to fostering partnerships that advance research, build capacity, and promote inclusive development policies across Africa and beyond.
