– Jane Goodall
Young people are currently leading the charge for some of the greatest changes in our world today.
From organizing movements for food systems transformation to leading the discussions on climate change and adaptation, youth are engaged in topics that affect the global community. Despite their involvement in significant dialogues and the fact that they make up the largest generation in the world, youth are one of the marginalized groups in settings such as governance, economic development, social protection, employment, and much more.
As the future heirs of the planet, the conversations around various challenges and possibilities should include and empower youth, creating space for them to be agents of change in the decision-making and development processes.
