Mohamad Said Nur is currently the director for the National Monitoring and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development of the Federal Republic of Somalia. He is also the National Coordinator for the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) 4th Round Monitoring Exercise. Mohamad is a public sector reform specialist with over 15 years of significant and progressive experience. His expertise is in managing and coordinating donor-funded, multi-sectoral community development resilience projects across Somalia.
He has managed extensive projects funded by prominent organizations and donors such as the World Bank, UNDP, USAID, FCDO, and the EU. For the past ten years, he has managed, coordinated, monitored, and evaluated multiple programs and projects in Somalia.
Mohamad holds a master’s in public administration and management and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Administration. He has also obtained a post-graduate certification in Project Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluations
