Bio

Dr Nneka Chidiebere-Mark is a Lecturer at Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria. She obtained her Ph.D. in Farm Management and Production Economics from the Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2018. In 2022 she received training on Resilient and Sustainable Foods Systems for a Food Secure Future from the Wageningen University and Research, Netherlands. Her research interests lies in the area of Food systems, Food and nutrition Security, Energy use, Value chain and Climate Change. She has collaborated actively with researchers from other disciplines of Animal Science, Crop Science and Bio-technology in grants funded by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

She is currently the Managing Editor of the Journal of Agriculture and Food Sciences hosted by African Journals (AJOL) since 2020. She is a Member of the Editorial Advisory Board, MDPI Books, Basel, Switzerland (2021-date). https://www.mdpi.com/books/advisory_board. Dr Chidiebere-Mark has made scholarly contributions, including peer-reviewed research papers. She has served on different conference committees, including the Annual International Conference on Business, Marketing and Management held at St. Annes’s College, University of Oxford (2016).  In 2020, she was a grant recipient from IDRC and CCARDESA to present her poster at the 4th International Conference on Global Food Security - Online Edition.
