Bio

Enock Will Nsubuga Bulime works with the Economic Policy Research Centre as a Young Professional. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Economics from Makerere University.

His master’s thesis, Public Debt Sustainability: Estimating the Fiscal Reaction Function for Uganda (1981/82 – 2016/17), examined the sustainability of Uganda’s public debt. He previously worked with the EPRC as Volunteer Research Associate, Graduate Intern and Undergraduate Intern.

He is passionate about economics research to support evidence-informed policymaking and teaching economics to the next generation. He is a member of the Uganda Economic Association, the International Association for Feminist Economics and the Uganda National Trade Facilitation Committee. His research interests are Public Economics, Public Finance, Health Economics, Labour Markets, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Regional Integration, Digital Financial Inclusion and Food Security.

He seeks collaboration with economists, sociologists, political scientists, psychologists and statisticians working on economic-related issues to extend the frontiers of knowledge and improve people's lives. His work has been featured on the Economic Policy Research Centre website, the International Monetary Funds' Public Finance Management Blog, Southern Voice, the Tanzanian Economic Review Journal, Business Strategy and Development Journal, and the Bankers Journal Uganda, among others.
