Robert Kajobe is a Research Professor and the Director Graduate Training, Research and Innovation at Muni University. Uganda. Prof. Kajobe was the founding Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences in Muni University.
He holds a PhD in Pollination and Bee Biology from Utrecht University, The Netherlands and a Master of Science in Beekeeping from the same University. He also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Uganda Management Institute (UMI), Uganda and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Makerere University, Uganda. Before joining Muni University, Prof. Kajobe worked at the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) of Uganda in various capacities including being the founding Director of NARO’s Rwebitaba Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Rwebitaba ZARDI).
Prof. Kajobe’s accomplished career reflects over 20 years’ experience in research, agricultural policy analysis, leadership and organizational development in universities, agricultural research organizations, NGOs and private sector. He has excellent communication skills and is able to establish sustainable relationships with stakeholders across the world. He is also a skilled mentor and a coach. Prof. Kajobe has published many Journal articles, books and book chapters.
