Fred Mawunyo Dzanku is an Associate Professor of Development Economics at the University of Ghana’s Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), and the PI of one of the ALL-IN initiative grant projects based in Ghana. His research focuses mainly on the economic behavior of households in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He has done extensive research on food security, poverty reduction and household welfare analysis, gender and agriculture, and evaluation of projects and programs using randomized field experiments. He has published several articles in these areas, including in journals such as Food Policy, Global Food Security, Journal of Agricultural Economics, The European Review of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Economics, and The Journal of Peasant Studies, just to mention a few. Fred holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural & Food Economics from the University of Reading, England.
