Steve has decade-long experience in development communication, research, partnerships and public policy. Over the years, he has led strategic communication efforts for various development programs funded by institutions like USAID, PEPFAR, USDA, Bill & Melinda Gates, Hilton Foundation and Hewlett Foundation in Sub-Saharan Africa. Some of the previous programs supported by Steve cut across areas like gender, women and youth development; financial inclusion; entrepreneurship; agriculture; public health; policy advocacy; governance and accountability; peace building and countering violent extremism.
Steve holds an MA in Development Communications from the University of Nairobi.
