Joseph Clottey

Research Fellow

As a Post-Doctoral Fellow, Joseph Korley Clottey assists the IINDWEGE team with the production of project deliverables such as the Evidence and Gap Map (EGM), the Theory of Change, and methodology reviews. His responsibilities include supervising the 5 sub-awarded grants for the project, based in Ghana, Nigeria, and Ethiopia. Joseph also works on any agriculture-related projects in ICED, such as the Climate Change Adaptation project.

Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Applied Agricultural Economics and Policy from University of Ghana. Joseph has experience in research in agricultural economics using both qualitative and quantitative methods. His research experience and publications prepared him for his work at ICED running literature reviews and data analysis during the production of the EGM.

Joseph’s work at ICED is inspired by his interest in learning more about EGMs and his belief that ICED as an institution has the ability to nurture his growth as a researcher. In his free time, Joseph enjoys a true Ghanaian pastime: watching football.
