There is no doubt that the implementation of the government flagship programmes and frontline services are important to addressing some key challenges facing the socioeconomic development of the country. The strategic interventions are critical to reducing unemployment rate, enhancing food production and boosting food security, and improving incomes and wellbeing of Ghanaians, especially the poor. While all these interventions have national relevance, and hence, must be known by the majority of the Ghanaians, the results of this study have shown that apart from Free SHS, National Identification System Project, the Births and Deaths Registry frontline service and the Ghana School Feeding Programme, the level of awareness of the remaining government flagship programmes and frontline services is generally low. For many of the programmes and frontline services, the majority of people are equally not aware of the objectives.
